
Tekashi 6ix9nine did not show to Howard University homecoming concert adding to his growing list of legal problems.
The Brooklyn rapper, full name Daniel Hernandez faces a $300,000 lawsuit from event organizers in Washington D.C. Albeit not directly related to Howard University’s official homecoming itinerary, the concert expected a huge turnout.
TMZ reports event promoters claim to have sold $165,336 in presale tickets, $30,000 in VIP tables. Tekashi 6ix9ine agreed to take the stage for a $60,000 payout. Both Tekashi 6ix9ine and management evaded contact and failed to make scheduled appearances.
Tekashi 6ix9ine currently sits behinds bars, awaiting trial scheduled for September. The rapper faces federal charges including racketeering and conspiracy to murder. The “Fefe” rapper’s legal team continues to fight, preparing a $1.5 million bail proposal.
