Tekashi 6ix9ine’s rise to fame is possibly one of the most improbable stories in Hip-Hop over the last five years. Coming out of nowhere, the Brooklyn rapper took off thanks to records like “Gummo” and “Kooda”. Since then, he’s showed no signs of slowing down. He’s worked with Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Young Thug, Offset and many more. Not to mention, he’s currently touring overseas and believed to be the main attraction at Howard University’s 2018 Homecoming. With everything that has gone well for the rising rapper, controversy has seemed to follow him wherever he goes. Over the course of this year, the New York native has found himself going back and forth with Chief Keef, YG and many more. Not to mention, he’s found himself in a bit of legal trouble for the past few months. Today, the controversy surrounding the Brooklyn native turned up a notch.
According to reports, federal agents showed up at the rapper’s Brooklyn home today as he was moving out. While they were there, the agents allegedly searched the home and found a firearm. Luckily, he is currently touring overseas and was not home at the time. There is no lead as to why federal agents appeared at the home, to begin with, but this is surely not the end of their investigation. Stay tuned for more details as they develop.
