Tekashi 6ix9ine has hired JAY-Z and 21 Savage’s lawyer, Alex Spiro. The rapper has hired the famed attorney, who was added to his defense team during a hearing Tuesday at Manhattan’s Thurgood Marshall Courthouse.
In a report by XXL, Spiro joins Lance Lazarro, Dawn Florio, and several other lawyers on the racketeering case.
During the hearing on Tuesday, it was also revealed that Anthony “Harv” Ellison, who allegedly kidnapped and robbed Tekashi 6ix9ine last year, “is going to trial.” This is all according to Ellison’s lawyer Deveraux Cannick. Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack, are the only defendants in the case who have not yet pleaded guilty.
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s federal racketeering case is set to go to trial on September 4.
