Tekashi 6ix9ine returned to The Breakfast Club on Friday. In true Tekashi fashion, he didn’t hold anything back.
The controversial rapper, who was recently arrested on racketeering charges, claimed that he fired his entire team because he was being robbed. According to Tekashi, he only received around $300,000 of a $3.5 million deal. He also shared that members of the agency, MTA, threatened his mother’s life.
MTA is completely refuting the rapper’s claims, TMZ reports.
A representative from MTA said there was never a confirmed $3.5 million deal, only talks surrounding the deal. According to the rep, a paper was never signed. They also said that MTA, alongside Tr3way Entertainment, handled Tekashi’s security, travel and transportation. According to MTA, it was their agency that made sure that Tekashi made it safely to various court appearances.
The booking agency also said they booked the rapper for multiple upcoming shows, all of which he was paid a deposit for.
MTA is looking into taking legal action against Tekashi for his claims during the interview.
