Several teams reportedly are frustrated by Mario Hezonja, and believe his camp is trying to get him to Detroit, who have the no. 8 pick in the draft. He’s often been projected to be taken at no. 7 by the Denver Nuggets, although that wouldn’t please his father.
From DraftExpress’ Jonathan Givony:
Some teams expressing frustration with lack of info coming from Hezonja's camp. Feel they are "trying to pull a Kobe, to get him to Detroit"

Givony doesn’t believe that the tactics of Hezonja’s camp will work however.
With that said, I don't really see a scenario where Hezonja falls to 8. Detroit will have to move up to get him. 4-5-6-7 all really like him

Givony’s probably right about this one. Hezonja’s a very talented prospect. He’s a shot-chucker, but a great scorer with an overflowing amount of confidence. Hell, maybe he is the new Kobe.
Hezonja is probably too good of a prospect for 7 teams to pass up, but you never know. It is important that a player wants to be on the team that selects him. A disgruntled and unhappy player is less likely to work hard, and less likely to resign once his contract is over.
