Team Bosh defeated Team Westbrook in the 2013 Shooting Stars challenge finals despite taking a minute and 29 seconds to complete the six rounds. Team Westbrook’s lasted two minutes (The max) and didn’t get to make the final half-court shot.
The Shooting Stars challenge is an event that features one NBA player, one from the WNBA and an NBA legend. The main purpose is to make shots from six different spots on the floor faster than the other team.
Team Bosh was made of Miami Heat’s forward Chris Bosh, Swin Cash of the WNBA’s Chicago Sky and former Atlanta Hawks legend Dominque Wilkins.
Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Maya Moore of the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx and seven time champion Robert Horry were Team Westbrook. The team completed five out of the six spots faster than Team Bosh, but by never hitting the half-court shot, they couldn’t win it.
