Tate Kobang releases a new single “Big 28,” ahead of a new project.
On “Big 28,” the Baltimore artist addresses things such as record deals, life in the streets, and getting to the money. “Big 28” is a self-produced song.
“Big 28” serves as the intro track on Tate Kobang’s upcoming project Wrote On My Body due on April 28, 2020, the rapper’s 28th birthday. Wrote On My Body stands at 8-tracks and contains no features. Production credits go to Tate himself, YG! Beats, Foreva Feddy, Oktane, and more.
Tate Kobang is also now officially an independent artist, after being signed to 300 Entertainment from 2016-2019, the record label of Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
The release comes with an official music video, shot by FeelMyArt Productions. For Tate the creative visual has sentimental meaning. His cousin and rising artist Dee Dave appears in the music video and unknowingly to both it would be their last together. David (Dee Dave) Leroy King was tragically shot and killed in January 2020 according to The Avenue News.
