Rick Ross has stirred up quite the controversy with his lyrics in “UOENO”. The rapper’s verse reads “Put molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it/ I took her home and enjoy that, she ain’t even know it”. Some radio stations have pulled his music altogether as a result of the lyrics.
Talib Kweli spoke to the Huffington Post about the situation and had this to say:
[Source]I don’t care if Rick Ross is 40 years old—he’s a misguided 40-year-old person. Rick Ross condoned rape in that song … and he should apologize, and his apology that he offered was unacceptable.
