Another year, another All Star Weekend has passed and like in most All Star Weekend’s there were many highlights to choose from. Here’s 3 personal takeaway’s from the 2014 All Star Weekend.
Charlie Taylor: Whats weird about ASW is that people whine about it before it starts, have the time of their life during it and then whine about how crap it was. Nothing is perfect for you people. I on the other hand enjoyed it very much. My takeaways are these…
1) It’s very hard to predict a winner for the Saturday challenges. I said Curry would win both the Shooting Stars and the Three Point contest and he never went past the 1st round!
2) I’ve been saying all season that Andre Drummond WILL be the best center in the league 3 years from now and his MVP of the Rising Stars only backs up the inevitability of him dominating the league. And I’ll say it again. Tim Hardaway Jr should be a starter for the Knicks hands down.
3) Blake Griffin and LeBron James are the biggest teases in the NBA. How can you not participate in the Slam Dunk contest and then do Slam Dunk quality buckets I’m the ASG?! That’s just not fair!
With All Star over its on to the rest of the money booter of the season. Buckle up people!
