Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas will likely miss a week after injuring his tailbone in a 100-90 win over the Miami Heat on Monday.

Thomas took a pretty hard fall after being hit airborne by Heat guard Dwyane Wade.
Thomas knew something was wrong when he took that fall. In an interview he had with the Boston Globe on Monday,
“Usually when I fall like that, I bounce right back up,” Thomas said. “The pain that I had, it hurt, man. It hurt.”
He finished the game with 25 points and four assists despite the injury that left Thomas with some bad swelling on both sides of his lower back and elbow, WEEI reports.
Hopefully Thomas can bounce back healthy soon, the Celtics are going to need him if they want to continue this playoff push.
