Head Coach Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers have landed the commitment of 2024 top 25 recruit and top three-point guard Tahaad Pettiford. The 2024 point guard is a potential “one and done” prospect and should be a day-one impact player for the program. Pettiford committed to the Auburn Tigers over the Kansas Jayhawks, UCLA Bruins, Ole Miss Rebels, Kentucky Wildcats, Seton Hall Pirates, and UConn Huskies. Bruce Pearl has done a great job getting his players to the NBA and having a high impact on the college basketball game. Pettiford will likely be another player on that list in 2025 or 2026.

Tahaad Pettiford is one of the better point guards in the 2024 recruiting class and a talented five-star recruit. Bruce Pearl is a master of maximizing the talent of players like him and his commitment to Auburn continues to confirm that Pearl is one of the best recruiters and coaches in all of college basketball. This is a major addition to the Auburn roster and will land them another NBA player in either the 2025 NBA Draft or the 2026 NBA Draft.

Joining Tahaad Pettiford in the Auburn 2024 recruiting class is top 100 recruit and top 15 center in Peyton Marshall. These will likely not be the only two recruits in the 2024 class to head to Auburn with Bruce Pearl leading the program.
