T-Pain stands accused of plagiarizing a Bollywood song. His new single That’s Yo Money allegedly uses the melody from a popular Bollywood soundtrack song.
Sharing That’s Yo Money on social media and streaming platforms may end up costing T-Pain. Celebrities of Bollywood fame shared their thoughts on the familiar sound via social media. Fans also noted similarities between That’s Yo Money and Tum Hi Ho, a song from Bollywood film Aashiqui 2 (2013).
Sir, the melody that you have used in your new song is my original work for a previously released Hindi film..The Label is looking into this.#tumhiho #Aashiqui2 https://t.co/5fnDf4sfg7

Due to plagiarism allegations, T-Pain’s That’s Yo Money has been removed from social media, however, the song remains on Spotify. Despite confident statements from Mithoon, T-Pain responded to the claims.
T-Pain took to Twitter sharing he was unaware the track was sampled saying he “never heard the music before.”
Woke up to getting dragged by brown twitter. Sooooo yea. I definitely didn’t produce this song. Had no idea that was a sample and have never heard the music before I got the beat from the producer. Easy thing to work out. The labels will be in contact. Thanx
