On the day after her pop-up show, SZA announced that her album Ctrl and single ‘Love Galore’ are certified gold.
SZA’s debut, Ctrl, was released this past June. The album has received nothing but praise from R&B fans across the country. The Travis Scott-assisted ‘Love Galore’ peaked at number 5 on the Billboard R&B Streaming Songs chart in August.
On her Instagram, SZA posted herself with her plaques and team. One of the captions read,
“Dis feel like really big jewelry ..THANK U FOR CHANGING MY LIFE IN WAYS I NEVER IMAGINED ! Thank each of you for connecting w this album and making me feel less lonely.. less inadequate.
