If you were anticipating the Tyler Ulis era to begin in Phoenix, wait no longer. The Phoenix Suns are handing over the point guard reigns to rookie guard after the team decided to shut down their best player, Eric Bledsoe.
The Suns starting point guard, according to reports, has been dealing with some ‘knee soreness’. He’s had two knee surgeries since he arrived in Phoenix back in 2013 including seeing his season come to an end in 2016. Bledsoe dressed for the Suns game last night but he didn’t check in and according to Suns head coach Earl Watson, it was a ‘management decision’.

It seems like Bledsoe wasn’t too pleased with the choice made by Suns management.

Eric Bledsoe was low-key having a good season too. He was averaging career-highs in points (21.1), assists (6.3), free throw attempts (6.9 per game) and FT percentage (85%). This is, with little doubt, a tanking move by the Suns. This upcoming draft is loaded, so securing the best draft position is vital. Plus, why not give the young guys a chance?
