With a 5 game winning streak for the Denver Nuggets coming into their contest against the Phoenix Suns, Denver looked to extend this streak and forget all about their 1-6 start to the season. The Suns though, would cook the Nuggets at home in Phoenix, 120-112.
Gerald Green scored 24 points off the bench to lead the Suns to this win. Green made 6-11 3-pointers, 4 in the second half when he scored 16 points. Eric Bledsoe had 20 with 10 assists and his back court partner, Goran Dragic added 20 points with 5 rebounds and 4 assits for Phoenix. Markieff Morris finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds, Marcus Morris had 14 points with 5 rebounds. Alex Len and P.J. Tucker also came off the bench to contribute with 10 points each, Tucker also had 7 rebounds.

Wilson Chandler had 19 points with 7 rebounds and Alonzo Gee came off the bench for 11 points and 5 rebounds. The Denver Nuggets seem to be back at full health even though from time to time a player or 2 will sit on the bench, but it’s a whole lot better then what they had last year, with 3 players that were injured for the season by time January came around.
Suns won for the fifth time in six games.
Phoenix Suns are 10-6. Denver Nuggets are 7-8.
