TJ Warren is a scoring machine. Give him the ball and he’s going to go for it every time. Bad thing, good thing. That doesn’t matter at this time. He’s only a Rookie. He hasn’t played a regular season game yet. And according to Yahoo! Sports. He isn’t going to play in a regular season game anytime soon.
T.J. Warren has a small crack in a bone in his left thumb.
The Suns said the injury would be treated with a split and rest. The team said there is no timetable for his return.
He was picked 14th in the Draft. Which was exactly where I would’ve picked him. But for some reason. The talking heads who know College Basketball inside out (apparently) all had him in the 20’s.
Seriously? The guy can score. He led the ACC in scoring. He was the ACC player of the year. You must assume at least some of that talent will translate into the professional ranks. The guy was savage in college. The Phoenix Suns are stacked in the guard position. And I have no worries when it comes to TJ Warren.
Somehow. He’ll show his prowess, it won’t happen in the coming weeks due to the thumb. But he’s coming.
