Well preseason this year has been remarkably fun. Real, real fun. Last night in Anaheim in a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns, the fun continued.
The Suns had the last possession, down by two against the Lakers and Isaiah Thomas saved the day and stared down World Champion Boxer Floyd Mayweather afterwards.

Kobe Bryant hit big shots for the Lakers down the stretch with 8 of his 23 points coming in the final 2:03 of the fourth quarter. Wesley Johnson though missed a couple free throws and gave the Suns a chance to tie with 10 seconds left. Suns’ forward Gerald Green missed a contested three to win it, but the offensive board basically bounced right to Isaiah Thomas, who knocked down the shot that forced overtime as the buzzer sounded.
Mayweather loved it and had a laugh about it. You can also see Thomas had a little smirk on his face as he went back to the bench. Good times during the preseason.
