Phoenix Suns training camp is just under two weeks away from getting started. The young Suns have a lot of potential with minimal expectations going into the 2016-17 campaign. A big step toward the team surpassing any expectations would be to come in with a healthy roster. Starting guard Eric Bledsoe returning is a step in the right direction.
His season ended early after going down with a torn meniscus and then Brandon Knight followed him shortly after. The Suns starting backcourt went down and all hope for the season was lost. Now it appears Bledsoe is ready to get back out there and lead his Suns.

Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe also was cleared for his first five-on-five scrimmage play Thursday. He has been rehabilitating since late December surgery for torn meniscus in his left knee.
As the start of the season approaches, Phoenix now has only one major injury on their roster. It was recently announced that reserve forward P.J. Tucker would miss time due to back surgery. He’s slated to miss 6-8 weeks but it won’t cut into too much of the regular season.
The Suns have an interesting roster and after their abysmal season last year, they made some interesting additions to their team to both lead them into the future and push towards a playoff spot. Don’t be surprised if a healthy Phoenix Suns team is feisty once again.
