Behind Eric Bledsoe’s 16 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds, the Phoneix Suns defeated the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday 124-115. Besides Bledsoe, the Suns were led by a balanced scoring attack with contributions from Gerald Green (22 points,) Alex Len (17,) and Goran Dragic who had 25 points.
After shooting 4 of 19 on 3-pointers in the first half, Phoenix was 9 of 14 in the second. Phoenix trailed 39-30 before outscoring the Mavericks 23-6 over the last 6 minutes of the first half to lead 53-45 at the break.
The Mavs cut it to 56-52 early in the third quarter, but the Suns responded with a 16-4 run to go up 72-56 on Len’s three-point play with 6:26 left in the quarter. The Mavs would commit 20 turnovers which resulted in 28 Suns points
The Suns would lead 89-74 entering the fourth as Dallas never got it to single digits until the final 1:41.
Dallas was led by Dirk Nowitzski and Tyson Chandler, who each scored 22 points each.
