Devin Booker recently made it known he was not too pleased about the Phoenix Suns deciding to cut one of his best friends in point guard Tyler Ulis. The relationship between the two Kentucky products reportedly soured Booker as he wasn’t consulted before he found out his friend was cut from the team Booker is supposed to be the face of.
But it appears, as usual, big money solves all problems. The Suns are reportedly set to offer Booker his rookie scale max extension as soon as possible following their recent string of meetings in Los Angeles.
Following comes from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Scott Bordow of the Arizona Central and John Gambodaro of Arizona Sports 98.7 in Phoenix.
Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns are progressing toward finalizing a five-year, $158 million maximum contract extension as soon as the weekend, league sources tell ESPN. The Suns presented the offer to Booker in Los Angeles on Tuesday, sources said.
Both sides plan to finalize the agreement shortly after the conclusion of the moratorium on Friday, league sources said.

Folks, calm down. The deal will get done. There's a moratorium that the Suns have to wait to conclude before deal can be signed. I'm trying to find out exactly what that is
