Wow the Phoenix Suns were more like a collapsing Sun this season. Statistically they have had one of the biggest flops from one season to the next.
Last year they were so close, after years of not making the Playoffs last season was a great vision. If they just kept the team they had and made smart deals they will make the Playoffs finally. But no.
They have been unwatchable this season. And it’s unfortunate because that team had something, they shot themselves in the foot so many times I don’t think they have anymore feet. It’s a shame because it costed Jeff Hornacek (A Coach of the Year candidate just a couple of years ago) his job. And now they’re just done. Brandon Knight has talked to the powers that be and he is now done for the season.
Knight and the team made a collaborative decision to have him sit out the remainder of the season and get a second opinion this week on his sports hernia. Missing the past two games and the remaining five games puts Knight on an earlier timetable if it is determined that surgery is needed.
Now Brandon has grown a lot this season. He has shown great improvement as am individual player, it’s sad that he’s on this absolute trash franchise. The players didn’t deserve this season, they had high hopes but the front office completely blew it and now Brandon Knight is king of a garbage heap.
Let’s hope that sports hernia gets sorted.
