Rihanna has been having an exceptional 2017. The Barbados singer has been in the spotlight this year for nothing but good things. After receiving Harvard’s Humanitarian of the Year award, Rih then releases her highly anticipated makeup line, Fenty Beauty.
Now, Barbados wants to honor their famous daughter in a big way. The Prime Minister and country are planning on honoring the singer during their 51st Independence Day celebration on November 30. In honor of Robyn Fenty, Barbados is renaming the street she grew up on in St. Michael after her.
