There’s nothing more frustrating from a fan’s perspective than a sloppy album release. In this case, it may or may not be 100% on the amazing hit-maker, songwriter, and singer, The-Dream. Over the course of the past several months, the singer has went on to tease and even release new material in support of his forthcoming, and potentially now available album, Jewel. Around this time last year, the singer released his Crown EP that was planned to lead into his new album just a few months later. With a change of plans and departure from Capital Records, there wasn’t much known about Jewel and when it would see the light of day.
Well, in every sense and meaning of randomness, snippets of the singer’s new album are available via his SoundCloud account. Furthermore, it appears that for SoundCloud Go users that the album is readily available. The strangeness of it all is that the album has not made its way to any other streaming platforms and there has been no mention from The-Dream at this moment. Perhaps, this might not have been the noted time that the LP was suppose to be made available, or The-Dream simply pulled the trigger subtly. In any event, surely there will be some clarifications in the near future. For now, preview some of the records, below, and listen to the rest of the snippets, here.
