Well, well, well. What do we have here? In a world where surprise releases are now a pleasant addition to the world of music, one of Hip-Hop’s favorites is back with “new” tunes. While not totally a surprise, TDE’s president went on to inform fans that a body of work would be dropped from an artist on the roster at random this week. With much speculation as who it could be, Kendrick Lamar was low on the list of many as the rapper just released an album less than a year ago. Now, to the surprise of many, it appears that Kendrick is the owner of the “secret” body of work that’s set to make it’s debut very soon. Thanks to an early upload of the cover and potential tracklist via Spotify, Kendrick is set to drop an eight track EP titled, untitled unmastered. Consisted of records recorded in 2013, 2014, & even 2016, it will not be a surprise if the EP is raw and unfiltered in terms of content and sound, hence the accompanying titled. As a release date hasn’t been announced, obviously, bets can be placed that the EP will be available as early as tonight. For sure, we can add this as another win for Hip-Hop.
