Reaching a pillar of his career that only so many can dream of, JAY-Z is officially on album no. 14. Titled, 4:44, the rapper has given us plenty of great moments throughout his career and has only went on to grow as the years have went on. Giving us more growth, 4:44 makes it’s grand arrival and will only go on to cultivate more conversation, admiration, and love for JAY-Z as an artist and person.
Not following the tradition that has been set throughout the years, the rapper has took his artistry to an even bigger visual level as the album came with an accompanying film. Starring the likes of Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong’o and Danny Glover, and featuring cameos from plenty of other names, the film backs the LP that consists of 10 tracks.
If that wasn’t enough, JAY-Z has tapped fellow artists, Frank Ocean, Damian Marley, and his mother, Gloria Carter, to share their creativity with the world on the highly anticipated project. A presentation that is a lot to digest, 4:44 is a moment in Hip Hop that we will not forget any time soon. Several years after the release of his previous studio album, the time is now.
