From blowing fans expectations out the water in Straight Outta Compton to appearing on AMC’s, The Walking Dead, Corey Hawkins has landed himself a new job. Hawkins has been casted to take on the lead role in the upcoming 24 revival. Entertainment Weekly has reported that Hawkins character, Eric Carter, will be an ex Army Ranger who now works for CTU.
Eric Carter character synopsis: “Strong and smart, Eric came from a very rough background and turned his life around in the Army Rangers. Now back home in Virginia with his wife Nicole, he’s pulled back into action as his past comes looking for him.”
Fox has ordered a pilot for “24: Legacy” earlier this month. IGN reports that 24 will stick to the script with the hour-by-hour show format. The filming for the series starts this winter so be prepared the the 2017 return of 24.
