Supreme confidence, or delusions or grandeur? Amar’e Stoudemire says season 2012-13 will be a waste if the Knicks don’t win the championship. The All-Star forward wants his team to use Miami’s mentality heading into the new season.
“They [Miami] take the game very serious, and also they believe that anything less than a championship is a wasted season,” Stoudemire said. “We have to take that same mentality going into next year … anything less than a championship is a wasted season.”
Hmm.
