With the season in the final 3rd. The Lakers are now looking towards next season. With that in mind they have shut down Steve Nash for the rest of the season.
With Kobe shut down yesterday that’s LA’s two best players done.
Nash has only played 10 games this season, and it’s heartbreaking really. All them Grantland videos of him training to get back and now coach D’Antoni comes out and pulls the plug.
With this decision now made, the “retirement” talks will come into his mind. Personally I can’t see him doing anything he hasn’t done before so why carry on? But it’s his body and if he thinks he’s got another season, go for it.
