Steve Carell is coming off of a big year in which he appeared in Vice, Beautiful Boy and Welcome To Marwen. Heading into this year. Carell is scheduled to continue his work with Angie Tribeca and take on a role in the new Apple series, Top of the Morning. While Carell appears to already be a busy man, he may have added another big project to his schedule.
Steve Carell and The Office show runner, Greg Daniels, have reunited for an upcoming series on Netflix called Space Force. According to reports, Space Force is a comedy “centered around the people tasked with creating a sixth branch of the armed services.” Greg Daniels will take the role of executive producer and Carell will return for his first regular role in a television series since The Office.
According to reports, Carell’s salary may break payday per episode records previously set by The Big Bang Theory. At the moment, an episode count has not yet been rendered and scripts have yet to be written. However, The Office still remains as one of the popular series on Netflix. If Space Force lives up to the legacy of The Office, the series will be worth every penny.
