I think it is now common knowledge that if you pick the Golden State Warriors on NBA2K you’re an automatic copping out and you should seek life help. The Warriors, on paper, look unstoppable.
The one question that will go into the next regular season is how dominant will the Warriors be? Can they break their own regular season record?
Stephen Curry won’t answer that question just yet but he does believe that the Warriors won’t be as unstoppable as everyone think.
Just because we have KD, because the guys we have on the roster — we do have one of the most talented rosters in the NBA — but that doesn’t mean we’re just going to blow everybody out. It’s not like CYO, where you roll the ball out and the most talented team wins. We’re going to have to work. We’re going to have to play well. Nothing will be given to us. We’re not going to go 82-0 and blow everybody out. We are going to be challenged.
I agree. They’re not going to be 82-0, they will lose games. Honestly, I wish they would do what the Spurs do and rest people when it’s necessary, you have the record, it will stand for many many years, there’s no point risking potential fatigue in the Playoffs for a record you already own. Stephen Curry gets it.
