Before Stephen Curry catapulted himself to MVP status, the running theme for the Golden State Warriors guard was ankle issues. Curry missed 59 games in the 2011-2012 season after tweaking his right ankle, which was operated on in 2011 to repair torn ligaments. Steph’s brother, Seth, suffered an ankle injury during his senior year at Duke in 2013.
Taking the earliest of precautions, and assuming this could be a matter of Curry genetics, Steph sees fit to start his three-year-old daughter Riley Curry with some ankle treatment.

Steph didn’t explain any potential injury to Riley, but the taping suggests she might be showing early struggles. If Riley does end up becoming a hooper, we’ll be able to look back on this and remember that her dad was looking out for her ankles early.
