Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is aiming to return in the second round of the 2018 NBA playoffs, reports Shams Charania of Yahoo:
Warriors star Stephen Curry (sprained MCL) is targeting expected return at some point in the Western Conference semifinals, league sources told Yahoo. Curry has three-week evaluation on Saturday.

Curry sprained his MCL in March and missed the team’s last 10 games of the season. In all, Curry missed 31 of the Warriors’ 82 games this season.
When he did play, though, it was business as usual for Curry. Which is to say, mind-blowingly good performances on the court. This season, Curry averaged 26.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game. He shot 49.5 percent from the field, 42.3 percent from 3-point range and a career-high 92.1 percent from the free-throw line.
With Curry inactive, the Warriors went 17-14 this season and lost 10 of their last 16 games with him absent. With him healthy, they went 41-10.
The Warriors play the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the playoffs. With Curry out for Golden State and Kawhi Leonard out for San Antonio, this series could be interesting.
