The Golden State Warriors won game 1 of their 2016 NBA Playoffs first round matchup against the Houston Rockets pretty handily and essentially without the services of Stephen Curry in the second half of the game. Curry skipped out due to an ankle injury he suffered seemingly coming down after shooting a layup and trotting down court. He turned it, came off the bench to head towards the locker room twice and even left the bench with a little over a minute to go in the game but while the MVP got his ankle worked on the Warriors handled business.
Going into game two on Monday, it appears that the star guard’s status is up in the air but many do expect him to play against the Rockets and their irritating defensive scheme.

Stephen Curry did not practice Sunday on the eve of Game 2 of the Warriors’ first-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets and continues to be listed as questionable.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr said the right ankle Curry tweaked in the second quarter of the Warriors’ 104-78 win Saturday was “doing a little better.”
“He’ll get treatment today, go get some rest, get off his feet, and we’ll do the same thing tomorrow at shootaround and see how he’s feeling,” Kerr said.
“We’ll assess whether there’s risk. If there is, we won’t play him.”
Shaun Livingston would start in Curry’s place if the reigning MVP is unable to play.
