Well the Cleveland Cavaliers pulled it off. Despite everything (and LeBron taking over) they got a W and tie the NBA Finals against the Warriors 1-1 after another overtime.
Stephen Curry had a really sloppy game. Shot was off, he was turning the ball over, it was really weird watching him brick. But Curry is already calling it an aberration. And I agree.
Curry, who had been much more himself in the Warriors’ Game 1 in (26 points, eight assists), was quick to caution anyone who thinks this anything but an aberration. […] “Shots I normally make, I knew as soon as they left my hand that they were off,” said Curry, who finished with 19 points. “That doesn’t usually happen. I mean, mechanically, I don’t know if there is an explanation for it. Just didn’t have a rhythm and didn’t find one the whole game.”
Now. I don’t want to hear anybody say that Dellavedova locked him up, just typing that lowered my basketball IQ. It was a total coincidence that he just happened to be guarding Curry for most of the time. Does Delly lead the Cavs in steals? Exactly, LeBron does. Stop it. Just wait till game 3.
