Golden State Warriors point guard and reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry hurt his ankle in game one vs. the Houston Rockets on Saturday. He sat out game two on Monday, but the team still managed to come away with a nine-point victory. Today, Curry had an MRI on his ankle, and received good news. From ESPN’s Marc Stein:
MRI on Steph Curry's right ankle, I'm told, revealed "nothing of concern." Remains listed as questionable for Thursday's Game 3

Seeing Curry hurt his ankle is worrisome given his history in that department. For that reason, it’s a relief to hear that it isn’t a serious injury. Hopefully the Warriors can get him back on the floor for game three, but the last thing they should do is rush him back before he’s fully ready. They have a comfortable 2-0 lead, and the Rockets have shown no signs of life this series. Curry can afford to take his time coming back, and he should do so.
In game one, Curry scored 24 points to go with seven rebounds in just under twenty minutes (before the injury slowed him down), and Warriors blew out the Rockets 104-78
