Curry and Lopez were named NBA Players of the Week for games played from March 23 – March 29.
The Brooklyn Nets’ Brook Lopez and the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry were named the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week on Monday.
Curry led the Warriors to a 4-0 record during the week amidst a 9-game winning streak. He averaged 30 points and 8 assists and shot 24-for-38 (63 percent) from the three-point line during the four-game span. Curry and the Warriors had key wins over Memphis and Portland.
Lopez led the Nets to a 3-1 record during the week with a conference-best 28.8 points and 8.5 rebounds during that span. He shot 57.8 percent from the field and led the Nets to a win over the Cavaliers with 20 points and 9 rebounds over the weekend.
