Recently, on the show that owns the record for most hot takes in the history of sports talkshows ever, (Unofficial stat but I’d like to get an actual number), Stephen A. Smith said on ‘First Take’ that he’s been told Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant has the Los Angeles Lakers atop of his free agency wishlist.
Durant then went to the media and said that Stephen A. Smith was straight up lying and that Smith hasn’t talked to anyone close to Durant. Kevin has previously said if you don’t hear the news coming out of anyone in Durant’s camp, it’s just a rumor.
Well, after KD went at Smith, Stephen A. Smith decided to get real on First Take for close to 20 minutes and went on about his career resume, how KD shouldn’t be talking about the media, that KD is lying himself and that Smith’s resume basically doesn’t compare to anyone else.
