Last night against Portland, Golden State’s Steph Curry set the record for the 3-pointer made in a single season with 272. Ray Allen was the current record holder with 269 set in 05-06 with the Seattle Supersonics.
The record breaking shot came in the second quarter with 6:49 left in the half. After that Curry added on two more for some frosting on the cake. Following the last shot he was taken out the game for the remainder by Coach Mark Jackson and the Warriors went on to win the game 99-88.
Watch out for Golden State’s three guard line up in the playoffs, this can cause real matchup problems for any team in the West.
