After a huge passing season in 2014, the Pittsburgh Steelers and their fans were expecting some huge things from their ‘Killer B’s’ offense once everyone returned. In the Steelers third game of the 2015 season with Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell all on the field for the first time all season, everyone clamored for a big show.
At the end of the day, Big Ben wasn’t on the field and Michael Vick was behind center.
In the third quarter of the Steelers game against the St.Louis Rams, Roethlisberger was tackled low by a Rams defender and he went down. Immediately he grabbed his left knee and it didn’t look good at all. He was carted off the field and Steelers fans feared the worst. The outcome is actually a lot better than anticipated.
Following from Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com.
Roethlisberger has an MCL sprain and a bone bruise, NFL Media’s Albert Breer reported Sunday night, per a source informed of the injury. The Steelers’ franchise quarterback is expected to be out four to six weeks. CBS Sports first reported the news.
And from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
MRI revealed Ben Roethlisberger did not tear his ACL, but he sprained his MCL and now is expected to miss "probably 6 weeks," per source.

Without Big Ben, in comes Michael Vick. The veteran quarterback is long from his days of running around the field and launching passes with his huge arm but he’s a serviceable replacement for a few weeks. Vick was signed by the Steelers late in the offseason and he’s very new to this dynamic Pittsburgh offense. He should be fine for now with Le’Veon Bell in the backfield and Antonio Brown as his lead pass catcher.
