The world is watching as the citizens of the United States take to the streets to express their frustrations with police brutality, white supremacy, racism, income equality and much more. The country entered into a boiling point of unrest with the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and Sean Reed. Following the death of Floyd, crowds took to Minneapolis throughout the week to make their voices heard. Shortly thereafter, citizens in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Philadelphia and many other cities did the same. In response to outcries against police force and government action, government officials have elected to increase police presence and enact curfews to downsize protests. Here is a state-by-state list of curfews and national guard deployment from across the country.
