Starz has formally announced the Power spin-off series, Power Book IV: Force, starring Joseph Sikora. In the series, Sikora will reprise his role as Tommy as he travels to a new city and embarks on a new journey.
The Sikora-led series will follow the first two spin-off series, Power Book II: Ghost and Power Book III: Raising Kanan. Power Book II: Ghost will debut later this year and Power Book III: Raising Kanan will debut in 2021.
Meanwhile, Power Book V: Influence will follow Power Book IV: Force in 2022. Originally, the Sikora-led series was supposed to follow the Larenz Tate led, Power Book V: Influence.
Power creator Courtney A. Kemp recently confirmed the news during an interview.
“There’s an easier way to do this, right,” she asked.
“You just do a lovable, cuddly-like Tommy series — which we’re going to do. Well, it won’t necessarily be cuddly. But there’s low hanging fruit here and I’m not going for it,” she continued.
The first Power spin-off, Power Book II: Ghost starring Mary J. Blige and Method Man will debut this Sunday on Starz.
