We got about 6 beats from @ronbrowz but the ‘Drummer Boys’ beat stood out because it was kinda off key like 3.8 bars instead of 4 bars but the shit was fire I was watching the movie Drumline that previous morning so that’s where the drummer boy and Nick Cannon reference came from. Plus the drums in the beat was so rapid it sounded like that. Stack called @ransom so he can feature on it we drove out to Jersey and got lost twice @whatonberg had to come get us lol we got to the studio and loaded the beat up Ransom heard it and blacked on the shit, Stack whispered to me and said “you better get busy Ran set the tone” the flow Ran used was different he was sonically in pocket it was like he was rhyming directly to the snare. I must say this had to be one of the hardest beats I had to write to and to do it on the spot was hard. The booth was like in the kitchen we was in the Bando for real, a lot of dope shit came outta that studio . We left the studio damn near 4am took the Goethals Bridge back. Stack was blasting music spitting sunflower seeds out the window tryna stay awake lol we almost wrap @m_a_squadup Benz that night ????.
