Spotify and Russell Simmons’ All Def Digital has teamed up to create a new series. Starting next Tuesday for the next eight weeks, Spotify and All Def Digital will take fans on a ride. Finally, fans get to see their favorite artists and producers collab with each other.
The rapper-producer duos travel across Los Angeles during rush hour. Throughout the ride, they have to be able to create a new song before they reach their destination. Once reaching their destination — the Spotify-All Def Stage — there, fans will be waiting for them to perform their new hit. The driver throughout the show, comedian DaBoy, aka Fat Drake, chats with the duo while they’re riding and creating their track.
“Traffic Jams is an exciting new premium series that shows off true talent — recording artists and producers — and their ingenuity, creativity, and personalities,” said Russell Simmons, co-founder of All Def Digital
The first episode starts with T-Pain, collaborating with Atlanta producer Southside on the next big party anthem. Upcoming collaborations will feature DRAM and Melo X, Joey Bada$$ and Cardo, and Pell and !llmind.
Traffic Jams premieres April 8, but for now check out the trailer below.
