What a night it was for the Splash Brothers, mainly Steph Curry, in Miami on Tuesday as they combined for 64 points in a Warriors 114-97 win over the Heat.
It was a career night for Curry as he shot 8 of 11 from behind the arc while finishing with 40 points.
Miami would lead by as many as 16 in the first half, but would only hold a one-point lead going into the half after a 22-6 Golden State run.
The game would remain even until under three minutes left to play when the Warriors would close out on a 14-0 run, capped off by back to back Klay Thompson and Curry three-pointers.
After scoring 36 point in the first quarter, Miami’s offense was silent for a majority of the second half, only scoring 35 points in the second half including an 11 point fourth quarter. The Heat’s last field goal was a James Ennis dunk with 9:11 remaining in the final frame.
Next up for the Heat is a trip to Madison Square Garden on Sunday vs the Knicks while Golden State will visit the Magic in Orlando tomorrow.
