Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson star in the first trailer for the Saw spin-off, Spiral. Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, Rock will play a cop who is looking for a serial killer who targets law enforcement. Joining Rock, Jackson will play the role of Rock’s boss.
“I’ve been a fan of Saw since the first film in 2004,” Rock stated last year.
“I am excited by the opportunity to take this to a really intense and twisted new place,” Rock continued.
A year later, Lionsgate has offered the first look at Rock’s trailer. In the two minute trailer, he begins his investigation in to the serial killer, but soon finds himself on the defense. Check out the full trailer above and get your tickets for May 15th when the movie hits theaters.
