There is a trend developing in the world of Hollywood as of late. Just a few weeks ago, HBO Max and Warner Bros. released the first scene of the new Mortal Kombat film before it hit theaters. Earlier today, Netflix unveiled the first scene from the upcoming film, Army of the Dead, starring Dave Bautista. Now, it appears that Lionsgate is following suit.
To get the weekend started a bit earlier, Lionsgate has unleashed the first scene from the upcoming horror flick, Spiral: From The Book Of Saw. The upcoming film will star Chris Rock alongside Samuel L. Jackson as they hunt down a serial killer they once thought was dead.
“A criminal mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in Spiral, the terrifying new chapter from the book of Saw. Working in the shadow of his father, an esteemed police veteran, brash Detective Ezekiel ‘Zeke’ Banks and his rookie partner take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game,” Lionsgate says about the upcoming release.
