At some point I’ll get tired of writing about Kanye’s music, at least for a few days. Everyday there is something new about the upcoming project and while I can’t wait to heard it, the hopes of Yeezus staying off social media and society itself to bury himself in the studio and only pop up when an official single is debuted, is something I truly wish for. Yet, that won’t happen anytime soon because the streets crave his addictive drug of music. To further add on the mystic of the looming LP, singer-songwriter Tony Williams, who dropped the quality mixtape The World Famous Tony Williams: Finding Dakota Grey in 2010, shed some light on the fiasco.
After debuting the Sampha-assisted track at 1 OAK, many wondered how many other songs Ye had in the fault. In an interview with Central Track, Williams confirmed that song records where held in order to be placed on the next project.
“Some songs were held back for the next project,” Williams says. “That’s where my features are.”
