The good people over at Yac House Entertainment lobbed a gem my way in the form of a high energy EDM track entitled “Distraction” by Solstice. Right away I envisioned this song being played at events in addition to being featured in movies and TV shows. The vibe is extremely easy to find yourself doing a light Harlem shake to at the minimum. I asked my guy Philly if she had more music at the moment because she sounded like a veteran, his reply shocked me; in a good way as it pertains to her future. “This is the 5th song she’s ever recorded. The crazy part is she sat with the producer and even helped construct the beat. 5th. Song. Ever.”
If this is any indication of what else she has in store, I can only hope we get more Solstice for the summer. Check out “Distraction” below, which is also available on Itunes and Apple Music.
