
Since debuting in 2017, John Singleton’s original series, Snowfall, has gradually built a dedicated fan base that is excited to sit down and watch the drama each week. As the series nears the finale of its second season, Singleton and FX has some great news for viewers and TV critics alike. After two successful seasons, FX has announced that Snowfall will return for a third season. Ahead of tonight’s second season finale, the cable network revealed the third season of the Damson Idris led drama will premiere in 2019. In celebration of the announcement, Eric Schrier of FX said, “It has been great to see Snowfall’s audience and critical acclaim grow in its second season.” Schrier later added, “The creative team has done a fantastic job and we have high hopes for season three.”
To catch up on season two and prepare for season three, viewers can catch tonight’s season two finale on FX. Directed by John Singleton, tonight’s finale will feature Franklin facing the consequences of his actions, Teddy pulling out all the stops to assist his partners and Lucia sacrificing to save Gustavo’s life.
