Calvin “Snoop Dogg” Broadus is the newest investor and co-owner of Swansea City. Snoop Dogg revealed the news via the club’s official website earlier this month, helping debut the club’s kit for the 2025-2026 season.
“The story of the club and the area really struck a chord with me. This is a proud, working-class city and club. An underdog that bites back, just like me,” Snoop Dogg said. “I’m proud to be part of Swansea City.”
Swansea City will kick off their next run on the road against Middlesbrough on Saturday, August 9. Then, they’ll return home for a three-match stint at Swansea.com Stadium.
Snoop Dogg may be new to Swansea City and the EFL Championship, but he is no newcomer to the world of sports. From helping more than a dozen athletes reach the NFL through his youth football league to being a longstanding Los Angeles Lakers fan, the superstar has always fused the worlds of sports and Hip-Hop. More recently, he appeared throughout NBC’s coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympics, joined Stephen A. Smith for an episode of First Take, and starred in Prime Video’s The Underdoggs.
